Terms and Conditions

Before you book and arrive

No alcohol must be consumed at least 12 hours prior to the commencement of karting. No individual must be in possession of any alcohol or bring any onto the premises.
Being under the influence of drink or drugs is strictly forbidden for the indoor karting events and the Crew have the right to remove you from the Arena, and/or The Experience if they have any suspicion that you are under such influence. In these rare instances, The Experience will not be liable for refunds, compensation or expenses.
All kart drivers are required to wear an Experience Balaclava each time they race. These can be purchased from reception at a cost of £2. Failure to bring the balaclava on return visits will incur a further £2 cost for a replacement. Drivers will not be allowed on track without a balaclava.
Adult kart drivers must be 13 years old and above be at least 1.5 metres tall. Please note that waivers for drivers under the age of 16 years old must be signed by a consenting adult.
Junior kart drivers must be 8 years old and above, at least 1.2m tall and be able to comfortably reach the pedals with a slight bend in their knee. The maximum age for our junior kart drivers is 12 and must be 1.5m tall or less. All junior kart drivers are required to wear a neck brace which will be provided.
Drivers must wear closed toe footwear. Open toe footwear and high heels are not permitted. Drivers will not be permitted on track without appropriate footwear.
All race equipment including race suits, helmets and gloves will be provided. Neck braces will further be provided for junior karts. Neck braces will be available for the adult karts upon request. Please note that drivers who bring their own helmets should be aware that we only accept ISO safety stamped full face helmets with clear visors and you will be asked to show your helmet to a marshal.
Please note that the Arena is not heated and therefore we advise you to wear warm clothing during colder periods.
All drivers must attend the briefing before being admitted on to track. By continuing on to track drivers are accepting the inherent risks of karting which are pointed out in the briefing and waivers.
We welcome spectators at The Experience where you have an unrivalled 3 degree view of the track. There are safe walkways surrounding the adult and junior track. The Arena will not be heated but there are plenty of heated viewing areas that you can watch the live karting from. Visitors are welcomed into the venue free of charge.

Payment

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless under extreme circumstances. Online payments can be made using a valid credit or debit card and onsite payments include cash. Please note that visitors will be required to produce the credit/debit card used for payment on arrival at the venue. If you are not able to produce the card, we will have to take alternative payment.
VAT is not applicable on Go-karting payments and all payments must be made in GBP.
The Experience have the right to cancel your booking without your consent if any payments are outstanding by the respective due dates. We reserve the right to amend any of the events without your prior consent.

Behaviour

Karting and related activities are not without risk and by agreeing to our terms and conditions and signing our waiver you accordingly undertake to accept responsibility to look after yourself and those around you in a careful and thoughtful manner at all times whilst on the premises.
Please help us to help you have an enjoyable karting Experience by:

1) Obeying all the instructions that you receive immediately;

2) Looking after yourself at all times; and

3) Acting in a careful and considerate way towards everyone else on the premises.

Failure to comply with these basic requirements will result in an immediate cessation of karting activities.
The Experience have the right to terminate your activity without notice is your behaviour is deemed as damaging, violent, likely to cause or distress other visitors, Crew, property or anyone else. In these rare instances, The Experience will not be liable for refunds, compensation or expenses.

Health and Safety

All motorsport is dangerous. Karting is not suitable for people with heart problems, back problems, weak joints, pregnant women, people who suffer from epilepsy, fits, blackouts, fainting spells or giddiness or any form of psychiatric or mental illness. Furthermore karting is not suitable for anyone who has been medically advised that they have any injury, weakness or illness which might make it unsafe to drive. Driver’s eyesight (corrected as appropriate) must be up to the standard required for a road driving test and drivers must not suffer from any other medical condition or disability which might make it unsafe to drive. In the event of feeling physically or mentally unwell or suffering an injury of any description during the course of Karting activities, inform the supervisor or on shift manager of the premises where the activity is taking place immediately. Do not leave the circuit unless and until an Accident Book report has been completed to your satisfaction. No alcohol must be consumed at least 12 hours prior to the commencement of karting.
