Our fleet of Go karts include specially adapted karts allowing those with ranging abilities to experience the thrill of the race track. Race with our support workers and our experienced team will be on hand to ensure safety and exhilarating fun! All sessions are tailored to individual needs, ensuring the ultimate race track experience.
Please note that discounted disability Karting sessions are only available from Monday to Thursday (excluding holidays) from 10am with the last session going on track at 3pm. We advise you to book to avoid disappointment
Supported by the Glasgow Airport Flightpath Fund, our Disability Karting Programme offers:
- The use of a range of karts including 4 tandem karts, and a specially designed side-by-side ride on kart (all karts are driven by an Experience Crew member)
- One-to-one assistance by experienced crew members
- Enhanced changing and toilet facilities with hoists
- A discounted rate
- Tailored packages for groups which can include food and beverages
- Sole use of the track (dependent on availability)
But the fun doesn’t stop there! There’s far more to The Experience than just Go-karting!
The adventure begins as you enter the Chemistry Lab where scientists are on a mission to save the planet… but they need your help! Work in a team or go it alone as you blast your way through Biology Base or Physics Forest to restore harmony to planet earth. Who will be crowned ‘blast champion’?
The room features state-of-the-art, computer controlled sensory equipment providing a safe, calming environment. Adults and children with sensory impairments, complex learning difficulties, autism and ADHD can enjoy activities such as tracking, colour matching, vocalisation and auditory tasks. Benefits include better hand-eye co-ordination, vocalisation and problem solving.
The room has a digital interactive floor, a bubble tube, fibre optic glow lights, an aroma and mist generator, a tactile disc, and vibrating platform.
Users can experience a range of multisensory environments from a dewy forest, underwater experience, sunny beach, snowy mountain range and much more! Where will the multisensory experience take you?
Our fully accessible ‘The Academy Restaurant’ serves delicious meals, with a traditional Scottish twist! We use the freshest ingredients, sourced from reputable local suppliers, with fresh fruit and vegetables grown in our community garden.
