Help Us To Help You!
We want to ensure everyone who visits The Experience can enjoy the leisure activities we offer. Our Experience For All charitable programme offers free sensory sessions and subsidised karting, laser and slot car to visitors with additional support needs.
In our first year and a half of operation our dedicated support worker ran over 750 sessions of accessible karting, working with a variety of individuals and groups including Sense Scotland, Enable, Cornerstone, and Key Community Support.
One visitor commented: ‘“My son is 26 and profoundly mentally and physically disabled with very complex learning disabilities […] I can’t put into words how it felt to watch my son have easily one of the best experiences of his life.”
We have a range of community partnerships in place and this programme is supported by the local community, as well as several funders, including the Glasgow Airport Flightpath Fund and The People’s Postcode Lottery.
As our programme grows, we are keen to hear from organisations that really believe in corporate social responsibility and want to develop a lasting legacy for their staff and stakeholders. We want to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local companies – helping develop your staff, working on exciting fundraising opportunities and portraying a positive image of your organisation in a variety of media outlets.
Charity Of The Year
By nominating The Experience’s For All programme as your charity of the year we will work closely with you and your employees, offering opportunities for staff development, helping you to give something back to the local community, and providing a variety of PR opportunities and increased social media reach.
Employee Fundraising And Volunteering
We are happy to support other fundraising drives throughout the year and, subject to availability, will donate raffle prizes. In terms of uniting a team and building staff morale it’s hard to beat a bit of competitive fundraising for a good cause!
We have a number of sponsorship opportunities, providing positive exposure to a wide audience. This could range from taking a table at one of our quiz nights, to sponsoring an adapted kart, supporting the purchase of a specific piece of equipment for our multisensory room, or branding within our venue.
